Anat & Phys

I'm supposed to be doing some poster or studying for my bone final.
I got it down...tibia here....pubis there....xiphoid process someplace else.

I'm so happy!
I can't even contain my excitement!
Look at my extreme over-use of exclamation points!

Did you just tackle me?

Yeah...so today's practice was like co-ed or w/e.
Coach Desotelle invited a bunch of the guys soccer team people to practice with us because our guys' team dominates....our girls team....not so much.

John had the ball and Jake like ran up to kick it away and somehow they both fell backwards and rolled over the top of me. It was scary!
Auror was being stupid, as usual, and decided she wasn't going to play the position Coach told her to play.
Yeah, so Craig was there. It was so much fun. I don't think I've ever had a better soccer practice.

During the scrimage, I was playing left full-back and he was playing right half-back on the opposite team....so we were on the same side of the field. Basically, my job was to get the ball away from him.

I tried really hard and actually did a pretty decent job!
Then Craig had the ball and I was like, "Oh, I think I can get it." Yeah. I ran up, kicked, and then he ran into me. We both went flying to the ground, and I hit my head. It hurt so freaking bad!

I could tell he felt really bad. He kept saying he was sorry in his really quiet voice. Everyone just kept making jokes about him tackling his girlfriend. Coach Desotelle came over, asked if I was okay, and then ended practice.

The locker room was pretty amusing. I walked in and was all like, "I just got tackled by my boyfriend!"
Totally missed the fact that his ex was standing about half a foot away from me. I don't think she cares though...I mean, she got a new boyfriend .7 seconds after they broke up.

He's such a sweet guy. I feel like I can just talk to him for hours about the weirdest stuff.
I don't know. I'm really scared to show him affection because I don't know if he'll freak out.
I kissed him on the cheek a couple times.
It was REALLY hard. He's like 5'11" compared to my 5'.
Why do I always go for the tall guys?

*sigh* I like him so much.
I feel so weird because I haven't been this happy in such a long time. Idk. I usually get really mad at people who are like "look at my boyfriend!" and now that's pretty much all I want to do.

My locker is like, right on make-out alley (where Kassie and MaCail [sp?] always grope), so I always have to put up with people standing right infront of my locker. Yeah, and Caleb was all like, "Dude, move!" today.
Not like I've EVER had to put up with his crazy girlfriends or anything.....I lie. Kelsey was nice. She actually talked to me....but all the other ones were weird.

I'm so excited that Craig asked me out! I have literally been screaming inside since Monday night.
No joke.

R.I.P. Hard-drive

My hard-drive thing died.
So sad.

Anyway. A lot has happened since I last posted.

I went to state and got man-handled out my perfect score because my judge was stupid.
I got a date for prom (long story).
Went nuts decorating for prom.
Tackled a girl.
Kissed a boy.
Listened to the same some on repeat 35 times.
Survived prom.
Ate ice cream out of a margarita glass at A&W.
Held hands with Mr. Hommerding.

Yeah. That list makes me laugh. I really want to go into detail about EVERYTHING, but I feel I shall just touch on a few and stay on the topic of prom.

State was lots of fun. I wanted to hit HWSFRN in the face. Yeah, he's a really big jerk. Not even kidding. Idk why, I just think he's such a...downer.
We watched Spanish soap operas and made up our own words. Good times. My actual performance for state was perfection. I was by far, the best one in my room, but my judge still gave me a second place. Even HWSFRN and Mrs. Lenz said I should have had a first place medal.
Pff.

I got a date for prom. Okay, so a long time ago I said something about really liking a guy, but I didn't want to post about him because I REALLY liked him. Well, his girlfriend broke up with him so I asked him to prom. He said he was going to ask me....how sweet!

Prom decorating was insane. I made some bushes. I never want to see green tissue paper ever again.

Last Thursday we had a soccer game and I tackled a chick. I wasn't even going for the ball--I wanted the chick to go down. The best part was that she landed ontop of me and the ref called HER for the foul! Shortly after that I was sacked two more times.....not my doing.

I kissed a boy...on the cheek. But still. Prom was so much fun :P

I listened to "Saints" by The City Drive from somewhere around 2:00 am to 4:something am after prom. Great song.

I clearly survived prom. No joke. So my date and I went to A&W before prom. It was awesome. We couldn't stop laughing. The dance was really cool. He said he couldn't dance, but I'm really glad he tried. We slow danced. That was a lot of fun. Three of my friends found it necessary to come up and take pictures of us and then go "AWWW". Embarrassing. I kissed him on the cheek...which was no easy task, let me tell you. He's like 5'10" and I'm 4'11"....but I had heels on. We had fun just sitting and talking. Plus we got to watch Mr. Peterson "sneakily" take helium balloons. At the very end he just started screaming in his uber high voice. My date and I went back to my place and watched Borat. Great times. I tried snuggling up to him and I'm not actually sure if we held hands...his hand was laying ontop of mine. Yeah, but then afterwards he said he liked me but didn't want a relationship.

Pff. Yeah. I'm not sure what's going down with that. I talked to him a little about it, but again....I'm not sure.

Because I was on prom committee, I got to keep some of the margarita glasses from prom. And since I have connections with Gisela (I can't remember her nickname right now, so her German name will have to do),whose parents own The Dub,...Pink Piggy, Gisela, and I took our glasses and got ice cream at A&W. Good times.

And last and certainly least....I held hands with Mr. Hommerding. I don't even know.
I went to prom clean up on Sunday and he held an "emergency prom committee meeting" in the Commons. There was a perfectly good table covered in left-over cookies, but he wanted us to sit on the floor. However, he wouldn't sit on the floor because he said something about being too old to get back up or something.
Then he actually lay a sat between Pink Piggy and I...and then grabbed our hands and wouldn't let go. How old is that man? He has to be somewhere in his 70's.
Gisela ran to get her camera to take a picture of the awkward moment. It was incredibly amusing. He was down-right giddy....and then he congratulated us on surving all the months of preparation and finally, prom itself. Finally, he let us have our hands back.

Home game tomorrow against Washburn. Coach Desotelle really wants to feet Olof...or whatever the Washburn coach's name is.
I'm scared. Washburn was the team we played last year when Coach Desotelle had to carry me off the field.

A great day

Today was amusing.
So I was walking to my bus stop while rocking out to my iPod...as usual. This car pulled up. I didn't pay attention to who was in it. HWSFRN stuck his head out the window and told me to get in.
His radio was blasting...a news program.
Wow.

Band was freaking amazing. Ray K passed out "Pirates of the Carribean"....I love that song. I even got my old copy and I couldn't help but laugh at all the ridiculous fingerings I had written in when we played it freshman year. J-J hadn't played it before.....it was cool. It felt weird playing the first chair part when back in the day I played second.

During lunch Peanuts and I were corrupting Random Freshman. I believe he has the quote of the day...."I like boobs more than video games."
We seriously spent 20 minutes talking about boobs. Random Freshman even let me feel him up a little bit. That was amusing.

We actually got to pick our own groups in German today. Frau Hanson was just like...go. She hereby has a nickname other than "Chocolate's mom" She is now known as Redenbogen. Well, she Peanuts, and I got in a fight over House. We're going to do our German skit from an episode. Redenbogen was all like, "That show sucks. I don't understand why my kids love it."
Duh!

Practice was canceled! Peanuts and I decided to drive around screaming in Borat-like accents. We saw Mr. Nelson going to work and had to go in and ask him when he's subbing for one of our classes. We came to my place and sat in the parking lot talking about boys. That was amusing. Well, it was for us.

And of course House was on tonight. I love it.

Prom Committee meeting tomorrow. That should be fun. I was in charge of finding a DJ...and now we can't get contact him at all. This sucks. And guess what. Miss "Committee Chairperson" will blame me and say it's all my fault that he's not answering his phone.

Well that was pure bull...

The NHS/awards ceremony was weird. The candles freaked me out. It was like a cult. Okay, I understand that you have to be smart to be in NHS...but for those of us who weren't being inducted it was crap.

Well, the part I found to be crap was the whole "accomplishments" list. There were a few that were stretched or out-right lies.
Like "active member in forensics." I'm sorry, but if you DROP OUT after sub-district your freshman year....you CANNOT say that!
If you DROP OUT of dance team and didn't help with routines you should not say you're a CHOREOGRAPHER!
If you were never elected to a position called "Prom Committee Chair Person" you should NOT give yourself the title (oh, and this same girl pissed me off earlier today on the same freaking subject!!!)

There were a few others, but those were the ones that pissed me off to no end.

I really loved when Sister-Sister and HWSFRN had to stand up and say something. The two people who are in forensics just had this lackadaisical tone to their voice like it was nothing. The other people seemed really stiff and crap.
*woot woot* forensics people!

Yeah, so while we were all on stage for forensics I had to stand next to HWSFRN. He just randomly leaned over and whispered, "Lemons, you're really short."
Like I need to be reminded constantly.
Oh, the best part about that was the speech he gave earlier today about how every Monday I astonish him with just how short I am. We all can't be 6'1"

Blah. Do you know what I love? Inside jokes. They are quite possibly my favorite things ever. Peanuts and I were doing a lap around the field and we actually had to stop and catch our breath because we had been laughing so hard. About what? "Rainbow kneecaps." Is it sad just thinking about it now makes me want to keel over giggling?
Hardcore.

Maybe more tomorrow. This whole not having homework thing is freaking me out. I have no clue what to do with myself anymore.
